I Have Some Good News and Some Bad News

I was unwell last week but...

The good news is, I'm feeling better.

I had been unable to work in the darkroom for quite some time, but now I can safely say that...

The good news is, I finally made it into the darkroom today.
The good news is things went well there and I am working on some images I am excited about.

The good news is they will be printed up for a small exhibition which I am looking forward to.

The good news is I hadn't forgotten how to print and was really happy to be back in the darkroom.

Now for the bad news...

I have to make supper, it isn't going to make itself.

But if that is the best bad news I can come up with, that in itself is good news, don't you think?

Took me a while to get to this, hopefully you made supper by now...just sayin' And yeah, I used to do darkroom stuff...B&W only, never got into color...hope to get back into writing this year, that's my news...

I now have good news I got my first paying customer today! Bad news... my rhinitis is still giving me hassle, but there may be some good news on that front later.

My good news is I have signed a one year lease on an house, and will be moving after the first of March. I have been living in an extended stay effeciency unit motel since Jan 01 of 2012.

Good news. We moved last year for a simpler lifestyle. It's worked. Now we're not such slaves to money and much happier for it.

I picked this up off a post in my facebook. I too spend a lot of time in the darkroom. I use it as therapy to get away from computers. My two enlargers are well used, one for 35mm and the other for 4"x5" negatives. I do black and white and color processing up to 16 x 20 prints. I go in there for hours at a time with my iPod playing. It is so restful. Great article.

My good news is that I'm finally feeling better after fighting a cold since Christmas. My good news is that I've been cultivating a few ideas that may grow into decent stories, and my custom artisan clay tiles are being well received. There is some bad news, but it's inconsequential and will pass soon enough.
