The Gate

Let not the Gate be breached
The Gate

as the sun turns red

evil masses rumbling

screaming for blood and souls

drums beating flags waving

all fall to a knee for HIM

pledges of evil and lust for blood

horns blare all turn to see

warrior princess dressed in purple

standing atop the Gate

calling all to mass forward

axes pounding on shields

swords drawn golden light shone

waiting for the onslaught to begin

blood running as rivers of destruction

wicked deeds done under flag and banner

broken shields swords and axes

evil cursing howling dying by the score

good rallying under the golden banner

angels and dragons blot the red sun

dragons flames and fumes

angels with golden crowns and swords

dragons broken wings falling

in heaven as on earth

good versus evil battles on

I read it like- the princess in purple is the girl i love. And i am her army protecting her gate's from external pain and the evil of the world. But all in all she is using me for my power- encouraging me to head face-on into her demons... and she sadistically gets a kick from it. But if i were haunted by an evil of an equivellant magnitude to hers she wouldn't support me- all in all, i am the only good- fighting the beligerently evil and defending the deviously evil. The battle can only end by me abandoning the battle field. - i love when people apply their own definitions to my own work it feels full-filling so i thought it would only be right approach others work in the same way. Hope i was close haha
