Colors of the season for some

Agree or not, just get what I mean
Symbols are just that to more than one

Snowflakes, bells, crosses and creches
Meaning to some but not to others

Holiday/Christmas lights, parties and dresses
Friends, laughter, love, symbols can't smother

Isn't now the best time, is another better
Give a kiss, hug, share a laugh or two

Santa, Christmas, miracles, they are all just letters
Putting aside differences for now and just love for you

A gift we need to share, maybe we just need an excuse
So use this time of year to care and to love most of all, make sure that you do
