I remember when we met and things were new and exciting.

Remember?

I remember when we met and we spent endless hours together.

Remember?

I remember when we met we couldn't get enough of each other.

Remember?

I remember when I met you I liked you.

Remember?

I remember when I met you, you liked me.

Remember?

Our feelings grew past liking and slight flirts. We opened the flood gate that allowed our emotions to intertwine. We fell in love like no other before us. Our bond grew closer, we felt as though we were kindred spirits.

It seemed as though nothing could break us.

Remember?

It seemed as though no one could enter our world.

Remember?

It seemed as though we were just us, the world around us didn't exists.

Remember?

Then something happened to us and I couldn't explain. You started to drift away from me. You started to pull our connection apart. You seemed to break our wave length we shared to pieces.

It then turned to hurt feelings.

Remember?

It then became tears and pleas.

Remember?

It then turned to silence.

Remember?

It was then, we no longer shared time together.

Remember?

You no longer liked me.

You no longer loved me.

You no longer needed me.

You no longer had use for me.

You told me we could be friends that you wanted me in your life. I trusted you, I believed you. I took what you had to offer me afraid to lose you all together. I tried to be what you wanted.

You lied.

Remember?

You weren't around.

Remember?

You didn't need me.

Remember?

You didn't have time for me.

Remember?

You didn't love me, you didn't like me.

Remember?

I was nothing more than a faded memory.

You let me slip from your grasp.

You let me out of your life like I was nothing.

You let me hurt and become broken.

You didn't care about me and how it affected me.

I was nothing more than a faded memory.

You moved on.

You found someone else.

You like her.

You love her.

You take care of her.

You shelter her.

You make her yours.

I still wonder if you ever think of me.

I know better though.

I am nothing more than a faded memory.
