Morning air chilled with the first frost of fall.
Exhaled breath hangs on the breeze with a lull.

Roofs covered with glowing jewels sparkling.
Half moon mid-sky breaks night's darkening.

Casting beams of pure joy upon the ground.
Voice of an owl carries with a crisp resound.

Leaves on the trees will show colors of fire.
Fall's beauty before long, we all can admire.

Morning sun will rise spreading his warmness.
Luna awaits to welcome him with her fondness.

Today they can have some play time together.
Dancing across the heavens, light as a feather.

Signalling summer is over, a new season has begun.
Flora and fauna need to prepare for winter's long run.

Enjoying time together until moon has to hit the hay.
Sun will take over the sky until he too calls it a day.

Chasing jack frost from the roof tops, fences and grass.
Heading for bed tonight, displaying a sunset with class.
