Angel you flew away,
to where there is no pain.
Just short of two years life,
Your mistreatment so profane.

Your face was lovely,
with precious tears.
Hands small and soft,
you erased my own fears.

Your hair was ever so dark,
your eyes quite so bright.
Yet your parents could not, did not,
Appreciate your heartwarming sight.

My heart you touched so strong, it made me jump,
It was only once but such a connection.
For an Angel like you is a gift from above,
and should only be fed with affection.

With an Angel, So many yearn to inhale the scent
So many yearn to caress the skin,
You now are where there is no pain,
In the clouds of flutes and violins.

But you must know that I did and do care,
and with many others your story will share.
This I will do in honor of you,
so that others who might, will not dare.

Before it is time for Angels to fly,
Open the gates of high above.
Your face I will see in many others,
Although your scent is the one I love.

This day my heart is broken,
my body weak, such mournful news.
Tomorrow you will hear the awful screams,
Of all of us that do love you.

But we must stop, those that bruise,
those that mistreat, those that abuse,
Our Angels
