Friendship is love and devotion
Something sacred, filled with emotion
Some don't get the serious notion
That some friendships run deeper than the ocean

This is my devotion to my friend
A friendship I know will never end
All my love to her I send
Our mutual affection transcends

She is mine to cherish
Without her love I would perish
Some say that together we're quite hellish
Others have named us quite devilish

But she is the one
With whom I most like to have fun
Some think us sweet as nuns
Excuse the pun

Us as nuns, most unlikely
God rolls his eyes and says "crikey"
Us in habits would be most unsightly
God, I think agrees quite rightly

That he set the mold with us
We have his total affection
He told me in my dream last night
That he cannot perfect on his perfection.
