I have seen many things.

"Doctor my eyes" don't we all know and can carry that tune?

I have seen things that were razor sharp and might cut my feet.

I walked carefully those days.

I have seen things that were blurry wet and cold.

I wore thick shoes and shivered in the crunching white noise.

It was all such a cacophony.

complexity.

Migrating and flowing like the rainbow oil in the gutter after very heavy rain.

Sometimes it was so simple like a woman's silk skirt.

Now those days they were the hardest of all.

Nuf said, right?

But, in all the fractures, splinters, twirling and twisting

I couldn't see anything at all.

I just simply put didn't know how.

As hard as I tried, I couldn't fathom the beauty.

How deep does this shape-shifting reality go anyway?

Ya ya, I saw the pain.

I one time looked deep into a woman's eyes, and I could see she was blinded by her agony.

I asked politely, lady look at me.

She said," I can't."

I still see those perfect green eyes in mine.

Perhaps I always will.

I know damn sure I always have.

Heck, I have seen the suffering of every living thing I have ever seen.

Am I being married to wonder if they have ever seen me?

Or like green eyes, they just can't?

That's ok lady.

I'll look harder next time.

And maybe...

If I ever so gently touch one of your eyelashes.

You will feel a little better.

Hey, there is a first time for everything.

You never know right?
