In the morning when I wake up,
Staring all around me,
Seeing that I'm all alone.
Daydreaming as I go out,
searching about my hometown,
Pretending that I still alright.
Just waiting for you to see me,
No need to hurry,
Time is just running out.
Maybe I should just leave,
Perhaps make you see,
Before I have to say goodbye.

Maybe, just maybe,
It's all in my head.
Maybe, just maybe,
Fears fueling my dread.
Maybe, just maybe,
When I lay here in bed,
That you will find me,
Before I am dead.

At night I go walking,
See the strangers talking,
Wondering what life would be.
If I had someone to talk to,
Even we could walk too,
Where we end up who can see?
But I rather stay here,
Sleep until I awaken,
Right before I disappear.
Open my eyes to,
Nothing like I'm used to.
Maybe then someone would care.

Maybe, just maybe
It's all in my head.
Maybe, just maybe
Fears fueling my dread.
And all alone
I shall lay here in my bed.
Perhaps you will find me
before I am dead.

I am waiting
for someone to find me,
Someone just like you.
My heart is breaking,
For my dream
Will never come true.
And I will just lay here,
Away from the world.
Feeling so cold and
Knowing I am not her.
And I waited too long
For you to come for me now.
I know you won't see me,
As I fade away now.

And I know that this is,
Some thoughts in my head.
That feed into my fears
And fills me with dread.
I stay up at night,
Just here in my bed
Waiting, just waiting,
Till the moment I am dead.
