My First Thoughts of 2013
By
CKAcres
Life is too short to spend it in the darkness of ones mind.
Hoping this year I can see colors and light, not be blind.
Sharing wondrous images, love, respecting all mankind.
What are the things this year, I need not do?
Certainly not spread hate and sadness, phew!
Change who I am, no, that I do not have to.
What are my priorities, the things I have to address?
Relax with things I can't change, let go of the stress.
Stay focused on blessings I have, surely not digress.
Live my life, as to others I preach, the best that I can.
Open eyes wider, spread my wings, expand the plan.
Listen more to my heart, grow, become a better man.
Show others the way, lead by example, the best way.
Change the world, one thought at a time, don't sway.
Multiplying values, love, peace, happiness, each day.
