The other night my life did ponder of a time when it left to wander

and I refused to give in to yonder

life that pleaded for a chance to prove its worth

As it left I felt myself easing

my flesh came to reason a time for pleasing

and soon it was that lust was ceasing

the rasp upon my sacrade door

I soon felt it a great discomfort

that lust took liberty and placed hurt

ripping my flesh and leaving my heart burnt

tatterd was my soul

I gave myself three months to ouster

said lust who tried to bolster

kicked and screamed quite a blubber

but alas, it was out the door!

But as lust went down the street

there a pair stood at my feet

two nasty fellows I regretted to meet

they stood there on my porch

the first, depression, who gave a smile

the second, Anger who snarled It'll be a while

they pushed me aside and made themselves at home
