Thought it about time
I wrote a funny rhyme
Ones before have been emotional
Not to say less sensational

Be that as it may
I have to say
I prefer to type faster
Write things about laughter

Words in my head
I type away
No one knows
What I am going to say

Could be this
Maybe that
Perhaps about
That cat in the hat

Probably not
I find that boring
And Aesop's Fables
Leave me snoring

Billy goats gruff
Now that's the stuff
And Little Bo Peep
How does one loose sheep?

Jack and Jill
Should avoid steep hills
Tumbling down
Breaking ones crown?

Hansel and Gretel
Have no clue
Didn't your parents
Ever teach you

No one
Takes sweets from strangers
Did they not warn you
Of the dangers

I am starting to think
These writers had no clue
Wolves eating people
In Little Red Riding Hood Too

The little mermaid
I cried
What kind of person writes
A kids story where she dies?

Don't even get me started
On Watership Down
Film scared the hell out of me
But the song was just sound

Bright eyes
All those cute bunnies
Then guts and galore
That's just so not funny.
