About Kavyansh

The values I try to live by, and which I look for in others, are HONESTY, RESPECT, FAIRNESS, KINDNESS, GENEROSITY, COMPASSION, and perhaps most of all FIDELITY.

The Hindu name Kavyansh means Intelligent and Born with Poetry

Those blessed with name Kavyansh are people of true faith and if they believe in something it can be achieved without difficulty. Two of their major characteristics are their ability to comprehend people and the effortless way they can communicate their thoughts to everyone. They possess nobility of soul and a greatness of heart that aches for every poor person, and they find abiding comfort in charitable actions. They are deeply spiritual and idealistic, even visionary, and spend much time in meditation. Commonly very brilliant people they have a high potential and show qualities of courage and self belief. However they suffer from an obsessive striving for perfection and an excessive expectation of themselves. They are naturally inquisitive which motivates them to try to get to the bottom of everything, and they are capable of probing deep into inner selves to discover new things in their character. They are often blessed with considerable good looks which make them attractive to others. They have the ability to be an inspirational leader and their idealism gives strength to others. They are very honest by nature and attracted to honesty in others. They are highly creativity and a sense of artistry is in their blood. They love nature and environment. All these qualities make them a whole person and invaluable members of society.

What is love - and is it all in the mind?

Cheating is widely disapproved of, but is not that uncommon. According to the University of Chicago’s General Social Survey, men are on average more likely than women to be unfaithful – 20% of men and 13% of women reported that they’ve had sex with someone else while married. However, the figures shifted across age ranges, with women in the youngest age range (18-29) being marginally more likely (11% v 10%) to have cheated, with the widest gender gap in the 80+ range where 24% of men and just 6% of women said they had been unfaithful.

Recently scientists have shown that some people may be genetically predisposed to being unfaithful. One study of nearly 7,400 Finnish twins and their siblings found a significant link between the vasopressin gene and infidelity in women. Another study, by scientists at the Kinsey Institute, in Indiana, showed that certain variants of the gene for the dopamine receptor were more likely to be unfaithful and also more likely to be repeatedly unfaithful.

Memories Of First Love

Standing on the cliff edge early on that spring morn He watched the sun rise over the rim of the world, Painting the cliffs golden in the clear light of dawn. How he envied the sea birds who with wings unfurled Left their craggy roosts to soar up into the sky,  To float unrestrained on unseen cushions of air, Free as the gentle zephyrs that carried them high Above his stooping form burdened...

Angel of Love or Death

“Are you coming,” she said, with that look in her eye, That bewitching look that could melt the coldest heart, And in that instant I became her willing slave Forever condemned to do her every bidding.   “Are you coming,” she said, with a tilt of her head And turned towards the open doors to the garden, Leaving me in confusion, should I follow Or stay, and forever know the pain of...

Blood of a Lamb

The moment I saw her that autumn afternoon, I knew that I just had to have her. Sitting quietly in the shadows of the empty library, lit only by the lambent warmth of the reading lamp over the desk, her demure beauty ignited a fire in my soul that had been dormant for many centuries, and I knew that I must take her life force and make it my own. ooOoo I was born long before the present day in...

Recommended Read A Soldier's Memory

He lay stretched out on the narrow iron framed bed Idly staring at the cracked and blotchy ceiling, Its surface resembling a map of no man's land, A senseless wilderness of craters and barbed wire. Unthinking, his mind was empty of all feeling Other than a sense of utter futility, A weariness that had seeped into his marrow Like the water bleeding from the walls of the trench Whose...

Springtime In Paris

We first met entirely by accident On a lovely bright sunny day in Spring, It was the first of May as I recall; Even now I remember it clearly, Although almost four decades have passed by. Strolling along the Boulevard Haussmann, Just outside the Magasin au Printemps. I wasn't looking where I was going, Daydreaming as usual, distracted By the pretty girls selling their bunches Of lily of...

Home At Last

At last, I am home after months away, Long months that at times have seemed more like years, When home and comfort were just a mirage; Hard months living out of an old rucksack, Battered and worn after years on the road, Much like me, I suppose, old and worn out. As an aid worker for a charity, I thought I had seen it all, South Sudan, The West Bank and Gaza Strip, Lebanon, So many places,...

The Reunion

Paris … ah Paris … he had been in love with the city since that magical day in April fifty five years before when he had stepped off the train at the Gare du Nord and walked out of the station into the bustle of the busy streets of the capital. He was a country born and had lived all his life on his father’s farm and his mother had decided that now he was fifteen it was time he saw something...

In the grim back alleys of the city, Mean streets devoid of all signs of pity, Amid the piles of decaying refuse And slimy pools of darkly noxious ooze, Frequented only by the scuttling rats And noisome tribes of scabby feral cats; Here, slumped in doorways, human flotsam lies, Just filthy piles of rags crawling with flies. In such surroundings, one would not expect To find evidence of...

Can Love Grow Again From The Ashes Of Despaire?

The rains came early that September Falling from a brooding leaden sky, After months of unending sunshine When all colour drained from fields and leaves, And small lakes and reservoirs dried up, Baked earth like concrete all that remained. The relentless downpour turned the earth To a sea of mud, mud everywhere, Getting into homes, soiling carpets  And staining floors; and cold...

In Memory Of Those Who Have Gone Before.

Hello, I'm Saffie and I'm just eight years old. I hope you'll forgive me if I don't make much sense, But I'm a bit confused just at this moment And I don't quite understand what's going on. Mum and Dad had promised me something special, A really nice treat for my birthday present, And I jumped for joy when they told me the news About the tickets for the Ariana gig. We got a train from Preston...

Romance on the Railway

Each night beneath the kindly moon’s soft radiance We make again that joyful connection of love Vulnerable in our emotional nakedness As we bare the most profound feelings of our hearts All too soon the hour of parting is upon us Catching us unaware in our communion The whistle of the passing train is the sad signal That we must reluctantly say goodnight, sweet dreams Come away with me on...
