Do You See Me?

What do you see When you glance my way Do you see the woman I was? Or the one who stands before you today? The frightened one Who was always so unsure If what she was doing Would work out in the future Or maybe the strong one Who has survived everything That this messed up reality Ever thought to bring Perhaps it is the vulnerable me That sometimes appears The one who...

Silence

The silence of your voice is deafening Its absence deeply felt is extreme Your thoughts are a jumbled mess I cannot decipher what you mean The haunted look within your eyes Fills me with a profound ache Your body shaking and the copious tears Are often more than I can take Your obvious dejected posture So heartbreaking to see I really wish that you would Unburden yourself to me ...

I want to spread my wings To learn to fly Sweeping, soaring, diving Across the worlds vast sky I want to soar to heights Where I have never been To see the sights As I have never seen I want to rise So very high above To see the things I would really love I want to see How far I can go If I do not try How will I ever know? Ready now, here I go One, two, and oh my three...

Hers Alone To Share

My Body is shaking Heart close to breaking Just who the fucking hell Did that jerk think he was taking? You do not force a woman Down on her knees That is not her place You moronic sleaze! You ask a woman nicely Perhaps seduce her with finesse But you absolutely never coerce Because of your physical prowess A woman’s heart and body Are hers alone to share If given to...

Nobody's Victim

It takes so long To recover and heal From a physical attack It’s so hard to deal The physical pain Will eventually go But life is never the same Yet not many will know Fear will always linger Deep within my heart A simple tap upon the shoulder Might cause me to start Try as I might Memories often creep in I will never truly escape The lingering terror within Forgetting...

The Centaurs Mate

He is half man And all beast His hooded gaze tells me That I am his next feast I hold my breath and wonder If I will make it thru As he comes even closer to me My thoughts turn to you He stops himself right next to me Scaring me with his sheer size The he lifts my chin so I look It's you! Imagine my surprise He steps even closer and I look up Into blazing eyes of sky blue The ones I...

To Submit or Not Submit? That is today's Question Leave yourself open To ridicule and jest Critics might hate you Or like you the best They could pick it apart Or not at all They could tell you in private Or share on your wall Just because you love it And think that it’s great Others might not And maybe even hate So make sure you're ready To show what you've done ...
