Packing

It's that time again

“Have we got everything?”

“Yes.”

“Are you sure?”

I roll my eyes. I’m the Queen of packing. Of course we’ve got everything. Huffing, I recite the list -

“Clothes, swimming kits, first-aid kit, towels, games, phone chargers, food, toilet roll, wellingtons, waterproofs and wine. Oh, and jumpers. Lots of jumpers.”

“Do we need them in August?”

“We’re staying in a caravan in Britain.”

“Point taken. And are the kids packed?”

“No, they’re too big,” I smirk.

“Funny.”

“Yes, they’re done. So am I. Where’s your suitcase?”

“Erm…”

Giving my husband ‘the look’, I traipse upstairs to pack for him.
