"Another trip to nowhere"

I know I have been here before. I could never forget this place where I watched the leaves change to vibrant shades of orange and hues of green. Or maybe the green was in your eyes as I fell asleep and you tended my cries. This tiny home so far from home. We walked away, wandered and roamed. Here I am again. Right, where I began.

I love this house so much. Watching the snow, feeling your touch. Dancing nude in the backyard. It was so cold! But we smiled and loved despite what we were told. The sparkle in your eyes made my heart grow into something I did not know was even possible.

Spring came, and we left that home. We went on a quest to see things we hadn't been shown, but look, I have returned to my home away from home. It's summer now. I see you too have returned somehow. Have we been here all along, lost in our song? No. It can't be.

I am not sure where I am going, or ever sure of where I have been. But I know for certain, I am home again. Nothing is broken, so there is nothing to mend. Who knew the journey would be so long, just to prove I wasn't wrong. I suspect you have known all along that my path was just a giant circle back to home.
