My Mind's Landau

Tags: love

As susurrous winds raise withers across patterns of my heart
spinning leaves like whirligigs from the timberlands
and reed grass of autumn's falling in a pastoral forest
and the clime's mist

Feeling your kisses touch the brow of my mind's landau where we lay
with the dew of your loving ratatouille as only your lips can say
neath quilts of our torn and the lift of my dowser stick
before the aurora yawns

In serendipitous swallows catching your breath of bubbly
as your fingers minute on my spine like a St Vitus' dance
and the spirit of Casanova while your tongue stops over
melting my curds and whey

Like pale shadows in my head and dreams of god spells
bewitching my eyes seems like old times
of maidens behind veils in the vineyards of wine
and the Chardonnay grapes

In swooning chimes of the abbey's sweet leaven bread
lost in love of a midnight's choir and psalms
glowing of an ethereal star in iridescent
of your ravishing eyes of emeralds
