If only I knew then what I know now,
I'd be a different man
But sometimes a man's emotions
get in the way of things,
of feelings,
of making memories that will last a lifetime,

Though every moment is not guaranteed to us.
That is why we need to do what we can
with what little time we're each allotted.

We have to pretend that every day,
every hour,
and every minute is our last.

We need to tell those that we love that we do,
and not harbor hate for those that we chose
not to feel an affinity for in this life.
