time has changed for me....

The day you died, leaving me forever in darkness

A clock started in my mind

A now cold emotionless vacuum

Twenty-six years at most

When my time will finish on this earth too

So much work to be done, so many responsibilities

To raise your son, get him married

To raise your grandchildren with your memories

To make life easier for mom

To care for my life partner

Yet wondering with ticking clock

Do I have even half as much as time as you?

Tick… tick.....tick...tick

Even now the time is slipping out of my hand like fine grained sand

The countdown to death has begun

Life has fallen somewhere in by lanes.
