Feared Necessity

Mind affects soul deeply

Fear ever resides in my heart

Sweet heart turned black

The anguish takes form and forms what I take

In dark I seek what in light I fear

Desire and freedom conflict together

I wish one thing but forge another

O life lost can you be rebound?

In dark I seek what in light I fear

Raging tempest of feeling corrupts

Tho reality be known fleeting

My heart turmoil forever beating

Cowering in darkness reviled and adored

Seeking truth, morally bored

In dark I seek what in light I fear

Truly consumed am I with self

Nothing else matters, not even life itself

Now the darkness inside enables

My truth twisted, the world crumbles

The spark of light deep down inside

Lay in the heart and soul no where left to hide.
