I loved and lost again

Tags: loved, lost

A woman at different stages of her life, looking for parental acceptance than boyfriend, husband

I loved and lost again
I gave and it was never enough,
I loved and yet lost again.

A child confused filled of loving innocence
Adoring everyone but never accepted,
She gave and gave, was repulsed and spurned
Crushed but still hopeful, never ending faith.
I loved but lost again and again.

A young girl stars in her eyes
hope flickering under ashes of hurt heart
fell in love with dashing failure
She gave and gave
She gave up world and her dreams her hopes waiting,
For a miracle, and lost again
I loved and lost again

A woman a man tied for life
Love happiness bliss, a pinch of sorrow
With spice of irony, happy yet distance slowly approaching
Together yet not, holding hands yet quiet increasing
Cheers, bubbles, little fingers, giggles, hugs and tears
A silent quiet a wee distance yet love in both's life
Have I lost or am I losing again?
I gave and gave again

Love is giving love is given
Love is losing love is lost
Yet I keep giving again
A faith that whoever I lost will find love somewhere
Having loved again and lost yet again!
