Ice-cream truck is coming

Just as I can fit in that red bikini for the summer, the ice-cream truck is coming

Ice-cream truck is coming, ice-cream truck is coming
The kids on the street start cheering
I try to focus on the work on my desk
But that ice cream truck jingle is so distracting

I tell myself to be strong
Asking the lord to give me strength
Lead me not into such delicious temptation
I've been working out hard all this month
To fit into that bright red bikini that I've kept my eyes on
I can’t let this craving ruin my waist

However the little devil inside me starts dancing
Filling my mind with luscious images
Creamy vanilla, rich chocolate and sweet strawberry
Crispy waffle, caramel sauce and chew-able sprinkles
All those delectable treats making my mouth water

Ice-cream truck is leaving, ice-cream truck is leaving
I could hear the jingle music start moving
Biting my lips I make up my mind

Jumping out of the chair and grabbing my wallet
I rush out of the door chasing that truck
To the hell with my diet
Even if I have to run another 10K today
I must give myself a little tasty treat
