Introverted Prison

Another Sad Day

I'm in an introverted prison
You never seem to speak
I need to make a decision
Our situation is quite bleak

If I don't talk, there's no words
How do I live like this
Nothing to look towards
With you, I don't really exist

Everybody talks, why don't you
I can't stand this anymore
I don't even want to
Loving you is a chore

I dream of walking out of here
Running so far away
Looking at a new atmosphere
Enjoying a brand new day

In my world, there's hope
With smiles and happiness
No more just coping
Definitely no sadness

Leave the introverted hell
Where there is talking
Perhaps I'd travel
I dream of walking

Tonight I decided to be quiet
I did what you do to me
It was really quite a riot
Maybe now you will see

Our kids asked what's wrong
When I'm quiet everybody cares
They see we're not getting along
Our relationship needs to be repaired

You need to work on issues
I really can't take much more
I'm always crying in tissues
Your behavior is quite poor

I'm in an introverted place
I need to get out of here
Our relationship is a disgrace
Here comes my tears

I do pray this gets better
And maybe you'll change
I texted you a long letter
You really are quite strange
