Lovers' Tiff

Tags: kiss, lost, love

Missing her kisses after drifting apart

Whose lips will kiss you now that we no longer kiss?

Will he taste the sweetness of your breath I so much miss?

Will he hold you in his arms and feel your beating heart?

Will you ever think of me now we’re apart?

It was foolish nonsense ended our affair

A lovers’ tiff, no more than that, but now beyond repair?

Can we let our love just die, has it come to only this?

Whose lips will kiss you now that we no longer kiss?

Will he gaze into those dreamy eyes I miss?

And will he squeeze you tight, such untold bliss?

Whilst I am drifting aimlessly along

Life’s byways, will he sing our special song?

Will our dreams all vanish in the mist?

Whose lips will kiss you now that we no longer kiss?
