Northern Light

Tags: love, whispers

Your soft breath
Caresses my skin.
A tender kiss,
Ignites a slumbering desire
That burned out long ago.

You take time
To find my soul,
And search my deepest thoughts,
Consuming every hidden place
In my trembling heart.

You touch me
Like I am your most prized possession,
Like I am yours
To keep.

Our desire is raw and pure.
It shatters me.
It fills me
And brings me to my knees.

You worship my body
Like a wonder of luscious curves.
You embrace me
And all my faults.

To you, I am a treasure
That has been discovered.
You never saw a broken soul,
Just a bruised heart.

Your voice washes over me
Like a breeze on Midsummer's Eve.
You calm my troubled mind,
With words of tender love.

You have brought out
A lightness within me.
A sensation of butterflies,
That dances on my skin.

Stolen moments,
Of precious time
Shared in the
Mesmerizing sunset.

You bring me into your arms,
Holding me close.
Closing your eyes,
You inhale the scent of me
As you lovingly whisper,

"You are my northern light"
