Return Flight

Star light, star bright

The first star I see tonight,

I wish I may, I wish I might,

Have the wish I wish tonight.

Sun bright, Earth light,

The last star of my flight,

The last trip for this old kite,

To see the Earth, what delight.

Jets won't ignite,

Can't slow to landing site

I'm coming home this very night

To die at home is my plight.

Meteorite,

Spot the course of my flight,

Ring Church bells for my last rite,

Now Canaveral in sight.
