Tricky Thing - Life

Tags: life

I walked, I ran, I stumbled, I fell

I stood up and followed again

Tricky red ribbon of life

Led me into deserted lanes

Moving on wind, it took me

To edges, to moors and dead ends

On my way through I met

With fairies, demons, foes and friends

They all helped, but I knew

I had to tread my path alone

With myself I'd share the joy of chase

With myself I'd share fear of unknown

I know it'd fly off the cliff of death

Still we all follow it to our last breath...
