So, verily your Lady might cry out
To test your chivalry with saline tears.
And honor will demand, there is no doubt,
That you must stay steadfast and quell her fears.

She gifted you her hand and earnest trust,
To be forever there, her guiding star.
You shall do all her tasking, as you must;
Whatever burdens borne, you cross the bar.

A pleasure, this is true, to fill her need,
Your code must be fulfilled without delay.
Brave soul she is, to follow where you lead,
But trusting is her right, so clear her way.

Your path is narrow, strait, and filled with grief.
Bear all that you may bear, give her relief.

*****

Whatever proofs you pass you are secure
That love will add the sense of duty filled.
Your lady must be sure you will endure,
So never give up hope till breath is stilled.

If needs must you will always find the track
That carries you to glory in her cause.
Yea, nothing will be missing, naught will lack;
Protecting her must never give you pause.

A promise made must be a promise kept.
Caressing touch must follow gentle kiss.
Protect her always and you are yclept
A Master and a Knight of Tender Bliss.

Fear not, my Lady, I will e'er be here.
My faith, my duty, honor, always clear.
