Wind

Outside the wind howls
Churning the earth
I feel like I'm twisting around
Can't find a perch

My mind is confused
My heart out of beat
I can't find the ground
The wind under seat

The tress slam the house
Like the words slam on me
Dust swirls around
Like your words swirl in me

Do I trust the light
Or the darkness inside?
When the wind dies down
What will be left behind.
