Halloween looms and my annual story is here. Is it a trick? Or a treat? Let me know.

I didn't have a car in high school. My mother had various cars at various times. I finally bought a car when I was in college. It was a used 1963 Ford Falcon. It was worthless.

When I worked for Singer Company, I traded a sewing machine for a '61 Ford Falcon. Maroon in color and in pretty good shape, but it broke down on the freeway and the cost to repair it was more than the car was worth.

And, yet, the 'Stang was originally built on the Falcon platform so something good came out of it, even if the Falcon itself was crap.

1955 Ford Customline. Just like this one. It was a 6-Cylinder with 3 on the tree.
It had the nasty of habit of the drivers door opening suddenly when you made a right hand turn too hard!

Didn't get my driver's license until I was nineteen, so... I guess you could say my high school vehicle was a commuter bus (here known as the TTC)

Oddly enough I was nineteen too, but I lived out in the country so no public transportation for me. Thank goodness my boyfriend and best friends drove me around.
The first car I got out of school was a 1992 Camaro Z28 Convertible 5.0L 5-speed. It was purple with a pink pinstripe.
