I enter your room softly and quietly. The dog sleeping on the floor wags his tail, as he wakes. I walk to your bed and stand gazing down, as you sleep. Your covers lay in a heap at your feet. You sleep on your side with your back to me and the room.

As I gaze at you, you roll over and look up at me. I hear a tiny voice say, "Appa." I smile at you, as you giggle watching me. That sound makes my day and warms my heart. I am the happiest grandpa today.
