Can you know what is real?
Will you accept the truth?
Are you lost in the past?
Would you allow for doubt?
Would you give up your faith?
Could you let in the new?
Will you ever be free?
There are quests in learning.
There is worth in the search.
Delving the depths of life
Leads to growth and to peace.
Ours, the precious era,
Ours, the best of all times,
Ours, the life of learning,
Ours, necessity's birth.
Forget the simple path,
Simple explanations,
Simple, tempting, easy.
Face the world with courage.
We can never lose sight
Of the world we can see.
We can never love life
In the next world to be.
Now is not the season
Nor the day, nor the night
To be doubting reason
To be losing the fight.
Do not search for justice
In a future heaven,
There is only this earth
Find your worth on this world.
