Where it might conflict with mmy moral standpoint...

Would you 'pull the plug' if it meant ending suffering?
I can't answer this question fully because I've never been in that situation, but if the person on whom I was pulling the plug, had expressed a wish to not want to suffer, then I would.

Ah, thankfully, that memo got lost in the post! It is a pity that it got to pseudo-intelligent life-form, though.

Hmm, I think toast can be eaten any time of the day. I'm a bit of a traditionalist, though. I like butter. I'm open to other toppings, though. When I was younger, my mum used to buy something called Toast Toppers. I don't know if they are still made, but they were like this thick sauce. The way my mum made them, was she toasted the bread on one side, then spread the Toast Topper on the untoasted side, then toasted that, like making toasted cheese. It was delicious!

What's the best way to tame an errant fly? (I'm using the archaism of errant, meaning to travel, in search of adventure.)

Oh, the toast chronicles, so memorable, so underappreciated! A thread dedicated to toast must needs be resuscitated.

To be continued, in respect to toast, that is.

The best way to tame an errant fly, one in the travelling, in search of advenure way, you ask?

Harness its energy, attempting to tame such a thing is not going to work.

Why are carrots so darn good?
Because they're sweet and they're orange

what's the best orange colored thing there is?
If life seems jolly rotten

The orange marmalade I made this past week, of course!

Notice how it comes back to the question of toast? What, it isn't obvious? Well that's because my marmalade is incredible on toast.

What is the best way to prepare carrots, raw or cooked?
I love carrots sliced thin on a bias.. boiled til soft.. then quickly stir fried in butter with a pinch of brown sugar and sesame oil..

Do you mix the hot sauce with the peanut sauce for Thai food?

A walk through a forest or a walk along a beach?

A beach at night... wonderful!

A forest walk in daylight... magical!

If you twisted my arm for an answer I would plump for a beach walk every time...

1950s Rock 'n Roll or 2015 'Dance'?
That's really difficult... I listen to both, but I think Dance... as that's what I am listening to now, as I work.

Philharmonic Orchestral Concert or The Opera?
Both, I love music

I would try the Opera. The other one I have no idea. I look for it.

I think this quote answers that beautifully....

If I truly love her (which I do) and there is even the slightest chance she'll come back, yes, I'll wait.

Well here there is story about cat. Once the tiger went to cat and asked to teach him hunting. Cat obliged and thought him all the hunting skills. At the end of teaching tiger said " what if I attack you and eat"?
The cat jumped on to tree and climbed it easily. Then says I thought you all but not climbing tree. Tiger, frustrated tries to climb but fails.
There is always a one skill that's thought at the end of the lesson. Have patience.

This intelligence makes cat special.

There is question from arirsdragon that continues...

Who is your favorite singer and why?

Oh, wow, that's a seperate thread, Paul. It is far too big a question to answer easily.

I love different singers from different eras, ranging from Mario Lanza all the way through to Adele, by way of Elvis, Nat King Cole, Connie Francis, Karen Carpenter, and dozens more. If you want to start an new thread I'll be there...

Who is your favorite singer and why?

Since the person before me didn't ask a question, I'm going back to this question.

Willy DeVille, because he was such a good musician, playing across the range of punk rock to classic blues and taking in some C&W along the way. He loved music, musicians, and performing, and his renditions of many of the blues classics are spectacular. His own songs are brilliant, and often very moving.

If you don't think you know of him, but have seen the movie The Princess Bride, well, he wrote and performed the song Storybook Love that is featured in that movie.

I had the great good fortune to see him perform live a few years before he died. A wonderful musician, singer, performer, he is still greatly missed, even if his musical repertoire is available.

OK, my question is - can you juggle, and if not, would you want to learn?

Ofcourse I know Willy DeVille and Mink DeVille and though he's not my favorite, I do agree with you about him.

And no, I can't juggle and I'm not sure I want to learn. I'd probably hit my head too often.

Would you miss wild animals in the circus if they were banned?

No I would not. I would rejoice. Wild animals are supposed to be exactly that... WILD. Not locked up in cages or performing

Are you scared of spiders?
Not really afraid of spiders as long as I can see them.

What's for dessert??
I think we might be eating some of Paul's cake. My brother made a cake yesterday, you see. It was one of those disasters that worked out really well. I love when that happens. It's sorta like a black forest gateaux. Damned yummy!

Are you in the mood for cake now?
