moms -> cops

Hi, and welcome to the games folder!

The rules of this game are found in the first post:

The aim of this game is to create a new word by changing one letter without rearranging the order of the remaining letters.

So, moms cannot become cops, because that is a two letter change, not one.

Back to moms...

moms -> pons

pons
[ponz] Show IPA
noun, plural pon·tes [pon-teez] Show IPA . Anatomy .
1.
Also called pons Varolii. a band of nerve fibers in the brain connecting the lobes of the midbrain, medulla, and cerebrum. See diag. under brain.
2.
any tissue connecting two parts of a body organ or structure.

Since everyone else is too polite to say anything, it's left to me to point out that MOMS to PONS is a change of two letters, not one.

But back to the word at hand...

suns --> puns

(NOW you may use 'pons,' Gypsy)

My most sincere apologies, and after posting the next word, I shall exile myself to the penalty box. Please, Mme Referee, let me know how long I must stay there.

puns -> duns (seems more appropriate than puns, under the circumstances...)

You are a punny girl with a cheeky side, no need to exile yourself to the penalty box.

We're getting all tangled up again here, CK.

The aim of this game is to create a new word by changing one letter without rearranging the order of the remaining letters.

I changed lent -> 'lens', you switched back to lent to make 'seen', but even with 'lens', you can't use 'seen' as the letters are rearranged. Unless I'm mistaken, that is, but I don't think I am this time.

So, back to ...
