Roses are red,
this is pointless,
unlike a rose,
which is less point-less.
If I had a penny,
I'd buy two sweet red roses.
I'd keep one for me,
and give the other to beau.
Sad, though,
that I do not have a penny,
and I cannot give roses,
to my beautiful Jenny*.
*Jenny is fictitious and is only there because it rhymes.
