Most efficient and effective way to report spammers, what a mystery

For crying out loud.

Once again, for over 12 hours, there is odious spam in the forum.

Each time I see such crap, I carefully report the person's profile page, on the page, and include all links to spam threads on the forum.

More and more often, however, not a damn thing has been done to remove the spammer's profile page or the forum posts.

UNTIL I SEND ANOTHER COMPLAINT VIA PM.

Is the report a problem button on member's pages not getting through to admin?

Is there a lack of staff to deal with this crap?

Is there a better, recommended way of reporting this abuse?

Because seriously? I know how EASY IT IS TO DELETE THESE PEOPLE.

But if reporting the profile of a spammer is going into a sink hole and the info does not get to the admin who can deal with this crap, then please let us know.

And let us know how to report it so that it is actually dealt with before 16 hours or more have lapsed.

Wow, what an attitude to have. Quite frankly, it stinks.

I've seen spam on international news sites, remain for days and days, and you complain that it isn't cleared up within 12 hours here, on a non-profit writing site, managed by a few volunteers? Quite remarkable.

The spam reports will go to more than one person in future, which should help.
