Just want to note that we have a select few of extra busy Stories Space Cadets who been burning the midnight oil, or whatever...churning them out...burning and churning...

Anyway...yeah, we got a bunch of members here with over a hundred stories on this fine site known as Stories Space...

Don't use symptom checker websites because before you know it, you'll have diagnosed yourself with cancer, Parkinson's, psychopathy, OCD and schizophrenia. Do this instead: Listen to your body. It'll tell ya what you need to know, if you know how to listen.

I'm loving my new laptop. Just downloaded a bunch of drivers, one of which is the mousepad driver. Nothing special, you might think, but it does gestures, like pinch zooming and stuff like that. This is the second business laptop I've had - that is, designed for business use, rather than home use, and I mast say, it is a lot better than home laptops. My first one was a Compaq, which worked really well, but was quite clunky. This one is a Dell, and boy, is it fast! The headphone port is amplified too, so I don't have to have the volume that high. The keyboard is backlit, so I can type at night with no lights on. I'm getting used to the keyboard. The keys are a little different to what I'm used to, but they're pretty good. Nice and responsive, and they don't feel heavy to use, which will help the tendinitis. The graphics are also really good, but at the moment, I'm using an external monitor. I got it for my birthday as a project - it was sold as for spares or repairs, and being in the repair business, I decided to repair it. Screen will cost £50, but that's a small price to pay. I just hope I can afford a new pair of boots that I've got my eye on.

A big congrats and shout out to my friend Christena Williams, aka Christena here on Stories Space, who has really gone incredibly far in the last few years, now a nominee in the Arts & Culture section here for the PMYA awards in her home country of Jamaica...amazing stuff for a 21 year old, and I truly expect we'll all be reading about her much more in the future...

Pick an amplifier, pick a setting, pick a guitar, pick a pick (ew), pick a string, pick your nose, pick a pickaxe, pick a specialism, pick a pocket... Oh, you've got to pick a pocket or two! You don't suppose picking something is on my mind? Well, I pick you! Ms Sexy Kitten.

Just want to wish a very Happy Mother's Day to all you mothers out there...and hopefully you know who you are...

Cool pictures of my friend Gary Cullen's Tatra T47 in front of the John Steinbeck museum, and John Steinbeck house...apparently John owned one in the 1940's at some point...

It is a pretty cool car...and Gary has some pretty cool cars btw...I believe this on is a '47, if I recall...

And yeah, I've known Gary long before I started writing...he's well known in the Exakta collecting world...this picture is about 15 years old, but he had a bunch of round magnifier Kine Exaktas from '36...the earliest Kine Exaktas had round magnifiers...and they were the first 35 mm SLR btw...

Oh yeah, Gary has a lot of cool stuff...nice to have money btw...he invented something a while back, I forget what, but I think it has something to do with optics...but anyway...

On another note...I just felt like posting this somewhere...I can see hard times in my future btw...

Here's one for Throw Back Thursday...I believe this is from 1965, and was taken when my family lived on Park Avenue in Iselin, which is where I lived for the first four years of my life...notice how all the girls in the hood are attracted to a guy with a cool set of wheels...yeah, some things never change...

Sometimes I feel like I should put a small disclaimer message along these lines every time I write anything...from a Facebook comment to a book...and everything in between...just sayin'

To sleep now would be great! And yet I can't. And I know I must. Or is it can, but just won't. I don't care which. Now. Because my body and mind is tired. But my heart is holding out in stubborn mode and on and on, just about to scream ... I need to sleep. Now. And yet I won't. Why? Oh stubborn fool! I release you, forgive you, so go... go now and sleep! Now!
I had a new business idea earlier on in the week, so I got right to it. I bought all the bits and then today advertised on Facebook. Today, I have my first potential customer. If that's an idea of how this business will go, then I definitely need to keep at it.

Alright, I'm supposed to one of the "World Featured Poets" at the PENTASI B World Friendship Poetry Celebration over in the Philippines next year, this happens every two years btw...here's a video from last year btw...

If you look at the opening of the video, you see a bunch of things on easels...look 1:10 into the video, anyway, they're the pictures of the featured poets...they look something like this actually...

Anyway, they're made from a poem, and a picture of the featured poet...they sent me this as an example, turban optional, I would have to assume...

Apparently, I was lacking suitably high resolution recent pictures of myself...so, I had a neighbor take a few pics of me yesterday...we'll see how this goes...I'll keep ya'll updated on this latest project, or whatever it is...

And these were taken in the kitchen where I live...not sure I really like any of these btw...

I once knew a drinker who had a moderating problem...

Alright...I posted about this a couple of days ago...they used an older picture I sent them apparently...here's what they came up with...

And this was the picture they used btw...

I will post more about this in the forum when I know more myself...cool stuff though...
I once knew a drinker who had a moderating problem...

Interesting take btw...sometimes I think my memories of things are better than reality...most times, I would say...maybe that's just the optimist in me trying to come out...

A picture of myself and my neighbor, actually former neighbor, Angela taken today with her phone...I know, my hair is a mess...

Another one with our tongues out...she talked me into it, what can I say?

For reasons unbeknownst to me, lately I have been mentioned on the front page of Poem Hunter, which is significant sized poetry site btw...that in itself wouldn't be particularly newsworthy, except that I seem to top a list that includes ten of the most famous poets in history, among them Shakespeare, Poe, Blake, and Yeats...

Here's the link to their home page...check out toward the right, under where it says "Quick Links"...

Why? I have not a clue...I just know that it's been going on for days now, that I'm aware, possibly longer...and I have a screen shot to prove it...
