Wow, just quoting myself from a couple of years back - seems I liked some of my stuff when I first wrote it back then. These days I hate everything I’ve written until I can’t remember it anymore. Then, if I reread it (which I very rarely do) I’m sometimes pleasantly surprised.

Helen, as one of the best writers I know you have nothing to be critical of. You know what I like... and don't like... about your work. Maybe you should read more of your own. None of it is bad.
