That contest reminds me of a ditty the circulated back in the '60's when Pres. Johnson's wife, Lady Bird was campaigning to keep billboards off the rapidly expanding interstate highway system.

I think that I shall never see,
A billboard lovely as a tree.
And if they do not rot and fall,
I will not see a tree at all.
