I'm kind of boycotting The Hobbit trilogy. There is absolutely no way on Earth that book should have been made as a trilogy. It would have been perfect as a single 2-3 hour movie, maybe a duology at most. Have to agree with Scott, here. Peter Jackson went way too far and totally ruined what should have been a good film.

I watched the first one but didn't bother with the other two.

While I was away, I watched a film called Shut In. It turned out to be a quite decent thriller.

On the other hand, I also saw Boudicca: Rise of the Warrior Queen. I wished I hadn't. It was dire and pointless. I thought the IMDB rating of 2.9 was generous, to say the least.
