Sorry, Al. You need to start with the last word of the previous sentence.

The finale of No Country for Old Men. I won't post it but boy, does it make you jump!

Nine years later, 1978, The Paper Lads was a regional children's show from Tyne Tees Television, set in Newcastle.
The theme tune was sung by a woman who had the most beautiful and clear voice, Annie Haslam.

Re-watching the brilliant first series of The Tunnel.
A British/French adaptation of the excellent Danish/Swedish thriller, The Bridge.

I really enjoyed the series even if it was emotionally jarring and depressing. The interaction between Elise and Karl makes the show. They are great characters.

You are absolutely right. The Bridge had that same chemistry which made it work very well.
There was also a German/Austrian interpretation called Der Pass. Unfortunately, that one was not so memorable. It didn't come close to the other two.

Welcome, Angel.

I hope you have fun here. There are many forums to explore and enjoy, many stories to read, and, of course, your stories/poems for us to read.

There are also some very odd people... Not really. We're all friendly here.
