Right now, I'm just hearing music in my head. For some reason, I have trouble shutting down earworms anymore. Current one is

You're lucky! All I have stuck in my head is Football's coming home! And I am NOT posting it here!

Fittest players of any sport? Most physically strenuous sport to play?

Football (not US Stewie head-shaped throw ball) and hockey for the first question. Surprising to some, but not to those of us who played, squash was rated as the most physically taxing sport.

No. Sorry, G. I cannot agree that Nambie-Pambie, fall down when three feet away footballers are the fittest. Or that football (soccer) is the most strenuous. Have you watched English rugby?

There are other, more strenuous and infinitely more interesting sports than Football. Not to mention that they are the most grossly overpaid sportsmen ever.

As you may have guessed, I would enjoy watching grass growing far more than a noisy, expletive-ridden football match.

(Ducks low and creeps out before the cups start flying in my direction.)
The highly irritating sounds of fans cheering or shouting at someone's distant house whilst England play Italy in the Euros.
Funny, I thought we had left Europe...
I hate football so much!!

You are the best, E! The best at being in front of me at the end of the line.

Take it on the chin, and no whining now, y'hear?

Make sure you take a parachute, Missy.

I'M THE WINNER!!!

Good Evening, folks.

Well, life just gets better, doesn't it? My Daughter's family is self-isolating at the moment.
Last week, My granddaughter tested positive, followed a few days later by her Dad.
Now one of her sisters has tested positive!
My daughter has always been very careful about keeping safe but they now are infected because someone at school had it.
Now my middle granddaughter is upset because she is going to miss her twelfth birthday next week... and she doesn't have it!

Anyway, moving on. Not many competition entries yet. I have just posted mine... watch out for it.

Stay safe, everyone, and keep wearing those masks. You know it makes sense.

One 'song' that brings back happy childhood memories was Rossini's " William Tell Overture" finale
purely as it was used as the theme music for the 1950's TV series " The Lone Ranger " - an episode of
which I'd see every Saturday morning at the local Odeon cinema !

Happy innocent days 😊

Wow! That brings back an almost forgotten memory. I used to love going to the ABC Minors club on a Saturday Morning.
Such simple pleasures compared to the modern world and yet such happy times!
Perhaps the cinemas should resurrect it?
But then, perhaps things are too different now...

Cleaned the Kitchen blinds today. Wow, how do they get so dirty? 😲😲😲

Son-in-law still coughing and weary but otherwise okay. Granddaughter has no symptoms at all, thank goodness.
[quote=PingThanks for the vid.
You're welcome, Ping. That has put me in mind of a show which, although made before I was born, was shown on British TV when I was very young.
