Homemade pies.
Fruit pie or meat pie?

I collect many things. I love all things miniature but one collection that drives my other-half mad is my collection of 'Gluhwein' mugs which I seek out each and every visit to Germany. Every town has it's own design and many are printed with the year. I have a kitchen shelf which is now full and each time I 'collect' one the only thing I hear is...
"Where is that one going to go?"
Eight years on and that shelf is now a cabinet full! ๐คฃ
Hi, Everyone.
I just dropped in to wish you all a Merry Christmas and a happy, healthy and prosperous new year.
I have been a little scarce around here lately. Sadly, there have been family issues to contend with, not least the death of my young niece last month aged 43. I hope that 2025 will see an improvement all round. I may even find time to write a flash story... ๐
See you all next year.

Wrong director. American Graffiti was George Lucas' second (and first well-known) film. ๐Interestingly, Harrison Ford had a small role in it but apparently his casting as Han Solo didn't really come out of that.
Oops!! I knew that. Goodness knows why I wrote Spielberg. ๐
Anyway... Easily mistaken for a Bond Theme, I love the collaboration of John Barry and Donna Summer.
Down Deep Inside from the Peter Yates directed The Deep.
It will come as no surprise to some that I love cats. I am absolutely not a dog person, with but two exceptions.
The first is the Siberian Husky. I think they are gorgeous, with their blue eyes and evil-looking facial colours.
The second is my son's Border Collie, Buddy. I couldn't not love him. He is the friendliest and most gentle dog you could ever meet. He is always so pleased to see me when we visit.
However, all that said, I would never own a dog.
