wigglERS - Eradicator

Oops, sorry, Larry. Too late! Just a point, though, You need to use the last two or three letters and the first two or three letters.

I was unable to find a word with RS starting it, nor could I find a word with ERS and two or three letters next. I did find Ersatz, but then could not find any word to use Atz to begin it. Sorry.

No worries. The only word I could find was ERSES.

verbose-travels

This is a bit of a conundrum. Words starting with "els" are rare and I couldn't find any that allowed a secondary word consisting of five or six letters. Anything starting with "ls" is an acronym, as far as I could discover, and it seems to me those have been avoided in this word challenge.

So... Allow an acronym? Or substitute travel for travels? Or there is a word solution that evades me and someone else can find? Which is entirely possible.

to be continued...

Edit: i did find that there is a neighbourhood called Elsen in a German town by the name of Paderborn. Somewhat obscure but I'll give that a go until you can rule on this, Anna.

Since it was my fault that I provided the difficult situation, I shall make a ruling. I am happy to accept place names but ONLY when no other option exists. Acronyms are not actually words so not acceptable unless they appear as an accepted word in the OED. i.e. SCUBA. Agreed?

How does that look, folks?

I don't want to look, Larry. I really don't.

Happy Sunday, Everyone.
I hope you all had a great day yesterday.
Our retarded PM decided that the 4th would be a good day to ease lockdown and allow pubs to open. Bet you can't guess the result!
Watch the Covid spike again.
It is taking forever to type this, My cat has decided that he wants some attention and is sitting on my lap, head-butting my hand. Every word is having to be corrected!
He is the best kitty ever, though.
