I rushed through it thinking the second season had already started. Now I'm sitting here anxiously waiting for the next one to start. Boo.

I really liked it. It has a Ripper Street vibe and that one was great. It lost some of it ooph for a bit, but I enjoyed it.

I'm currently in a show limbo.

I feel the same about A Discovery of Witches. Come on Sky, where is season 2?
I watched Maleficent: Mistress of Evil in 3D
Very well made and visually stunning but...
The story line was not good. It didn't have any of the impact that the original had.
I got the impression that they didn't have any inspiration for it so just knocked together any old tale to fit the requirements.
Very disappointed as the first movie was so powerful.

Tonight, dinner will be roast-chicken and mayo sandwiches whilst we visit and maintain a social distance with our grandchildren.

I'm not promoting anything. If I were I would definitely give the name. I am not doing so. But it is surely not problematic to simply relate what is happening in one's life. That is what this community area, our break room, and this coffee house in specific, are intended for. We are making use of this forum to talk and relate what is going on in our lives. Both the good and the bad, the happy and the sad.

Yes, Larry. I was teasing you. I wrote one too but not for the comp.

Another site had a contest for only microfiction entries. I entered that as did over 100 others.

Time for some afternoon iced tea along with some of Sara's cookies.

Another site, Larry? Should we be promoting other sites here?

Maggie won't like it, you know.

Speaking of writing the last thing I wrote was the microfiction for the contest. That was on 19 May. The last before that was a poem here on 6 April. Really am hitting a brick wall for writing.

What contest? We had a contest?
Juneteenth (a portmanteau of June and nineteenth; also known as Freedom Day, Jubilee Day, Liberation Day, and Emancipation Day)
A holiday celebrating the liberation of those who had been held as slaves in the United States. Originating in Texas, it is now celebrated annually on the 19th of June throughout the United States, with varying official recognition. Specifically, it commemorates Union army general Gordon Granger announcing federal orders in Galveston, Texas, on June 19, 1865, proclaiming that all people held as slaves in Texas were free.
