I just discovered a show called Deutschland 83. It has been around a couple of years, but I hadn't seen it. It is about a young, East German soldier who is recruited to become a spy for the KGB. He poses as a West German army officer who is the Aide to a high ranking West German officer involved with the placing of American Pershing II nuclear missiles in West Germany at the height of the cold war.
It is an excellent series, although if you don't like subtitles (German language), you may not like it.

Edit: And now, Deutschland '86. Excellent sequel.

Today I am grateful that my elderly mother is not suffering painfully as the sun that shone so brightly in her life is finally beginning to set and fade.
Gas for convenience, wood for ambience.

Historical Fiction or Science Fiction?
Going to stores. I like to see what I am buying before I buy it.

High street coffee shop or department store restaurant/cafeteria?
But, with just five words... (896)

(From the first post: "So let's begin with this story. You need to add next five words to the underneath lines. In order to continue this story".)

I have an idea and it will definitely make to 1500 words. Unfortunately, my brain is distracted right now but I hope to get started on it this week.

No worries. I know it takes time and time, right now, is a scarce commodity.

Up to now, I have just over 200 words. I'm trying to write something in the steampunk style. I just have to get my mind around it.

Hmm, I like the sound of steampunk.

Roses are red
I like Moody Blues,
and Justin Heywood
is a great singer too.
Granted but it gets heavier in the afternoons.

I wish I had more time to write.

But perhaps it came up again. (852)

Then we'll be able to deal with it. (860)

If we add five words... (865)
I really enjoyed The Good Wife (The Good Fight became a disappointment) so I choose legal.

Ghostbusters. Original or rehash?
