I was ten and watched the landing at home on a black and white TV. I had not seen colour then and so it was simply wonderful. I remember being transfixed for hours.

Phew... both have their merits. I live in the Pennines, in Bronte country and it is absolutely beautiful to drive around the lanes and see the beauty of the hills and valleys so that is what I choose.

Babylon Berlin is the most amazing TV series from Germany (Shown in UK on Sky Atlantic). It is set in 1920's Berlin and features new music with a twenties feel including cameo appearances from Bryan Ferry. I can't recommend it highly enough but, if you don't like subtitles then maybe it is not for you, however, you will be missing one of the best series ever.
