This is just the kind of thing I was trying to encourage.
A great idea and now I have begun a new story for this challenge.
Watch out for it back in the future!
No contest... Turkey!

Roast beef dinner (Traditional English Sunday roast) or BBQ'd Burgers?
Here I am and here I'll stay,
And no pesky meddlers will get in my way.
I've been away but now it's time,
To re-establish my place at the end of the line!

Heeere's Anna!
In UK, high school ends at 16 and the youngest age to hold a driving licence is 17. My first car, however was a MkII Ford Cortina. I also, later, had a MkIII and a MkIV. Back then, Fords were a great car to drive and to own but now I wouldn't touch one with a barge pole.

Happy birthday, I hope that it was amazing!!

It was, thank you.
Ok, I thought this may have been a little specific, so...

She (Titanic) had four but one was for show while Lucy (Lusitania) had four that were good.
(RMS Queen)Mary has three and (RMS Queen)Elizabeth had two but poor (MS Queen)Victoria only has one.

Get it now?

Gillian, You have to come and visit us over here!
One of the things I find most irritating is when remakes are made of TV shows or movies which were particularly good because of the era in which they were produced and the actors who populated them and made those characters their own.
The recent Dad's Army movie was a case in point.

That said, a good remake of Voyage to the Bottom of the Sea could be worthwhile.

Let's get to work on these badge numbers, so we can get back to reading and writing, and growing our little writing community.

This is what I'm trying to do.

So was I.
Computer.
Less waste, easier to correct errors and faster.

So, in the same vein...

Digital photography or film photography?
As a child my all time favourites were the Gerry Anderson shows:
Thunderbirds
Captain Scarlet
Secret Service
UFO

And:
Bewitched
I Dream of Genie

And then, as I grew older:
On the Buses
Last of the Summer Wine
The Sweeney
Hill street blues
The Prisoner

And now there are so many good shows:
Babylon Berlin
The Tunnel
The Bridge
The Good Wife
The Good Doctor
Wolf Creek
A Discovery of Witches
Constantine
Black sails
Vikings
Curse of Oak Island
Forged in Fire

And so on...

Wow!! Thank you so much, everyone! I had a wonderful day, thank you and now you have all made it perfect.

My list isn't long...

England
Wales
Scotland
(Obviously)
Germany
Cyprus
France
Netherlands
Switzerland
Austria
Italy
Belgium and...

The Falkland Islands.

I would love to visit Norway.

I appreciate the artwork but not on flesh. I call them 'skin graffiti'

Oml AMZ ..this made me laugh ..my dad thinks the same thing ..so what does his daughters do ..yes, three out four of us went and got tattoo while the sons have none 😂😂😂😂😂😂 too funny

Teaching or Learning

My son has many. Again, the artwork is good but I hate them.

I can't choose as both are important. We should never stop learning and what we learn we should pass on.

Being taught or learning from experience?
Brain.

She had four but one was for show while Lucy had four that were good.
Mary has three and Elizabeth had two but poor Victoria only has one.
I use Buds for convenience such as when listening to my work on 'text to speech' but for pure listening pleasure and relaxation, 'over the ear' is by far my preferred choice.

Watching movies on TV: Surround sound or just TV speakers?
