Thank you E.

I'm glad you are still here,
And I really have to say
It was so kind of you to keep,
My place while I was away.
There, there, E. Please don't despair,
There really is no need for tears.
Console yourself as you stand there
I'm at the end... right here.

Banana sandwich. Bread filled with slices of sweet banana. It is a favorite of the mill workers because the banana has lots of carb along with the bread, and potassium for the heart. The carb boost gets them through the afternoon as by lunch they are dead to the world after a 7-12 day in what we used to call "the sweat shops."

Sliced? No, No, No!! The whole banana should be crushed onto one slice of fresh, buttered, crusty bread and then drizzled with clear honey before the second slice is laid on top and then pressed into place with the palm of one hand.

Being former Navy in the US, I have traveled way too many places all around the world. Let us just say that on one trip I returned where I started the long way, meaning we circumnavigated the globe. I was on board an aircraft carrier and this was before all the luxuries of the current Navy. We didn't have wi-fi and tvs and pool tables. We worked and slept. That was our job. So how far away from home? I don't know the exact miles around the equator but it was far and long.

That is awesome, Jim. So about 13,000 miles approximately, bearing in mind that once you pass that point you are then getting nearer to home.

I wonder if we have any Astronauts as members...
