In one of the chapters of The Nurses I made a simple typo that would have made Officer Crabtree proud. (Google 'allo 'allo).
The phrase I wrote was... "Nein! Nicht scheißen!" I posted it like that and it was verified like that, and why wouldn't it be?
Unfortunately it should have read, "Nein! Nicht schießen!"
Notice the subtle difference?
ei instead of ie. Not a biggy, you might think except that Nicht schießen means "Don't shoot!"
Nicht scheißen means "Don't shit!"
